Prior to the debate in Cleveland all of Trump's cadre and family in attendance were tested for COVID and all were negative.

Trump has been tested daily and I assume those around him have similar frequent testing so is a surprise that every one in his inner circle tests positive almost simultaneously. Also odd that no one in Biden’s entourage has tested positive. Seems an unlikely coincidence.
The WHO admitted to the BBC that its June 2020 mask policy update was due not to new evidence but “political lobbying”: “We had been told by various sources WHO committee reviewing the evidence had not backed masks but they recommended them due to political lobbying. This point was put to WHO who did not deny.” (D. Cohen, BBC Medical Corresponent).
The debate was held at the new Health Education Center of Case Western Reserve College. This is used for teaching medical and dental students among others and has classrooms and labs. They may have even had COVID samples stored for research purposes there.
The main pavilion was refitted with the lighting, sound, camera electronics, and stage scaffolding to build the set where the debate occurred.
Many contractor and media people were involved in preparing the venue without any close supervision beyond the usual director types. I can’t tell where the debate prep rooms were located relative to the stage but they were probably converted classrooms or meeting rooms.
All buildings of this type share central plant HVAC equipment but the airflows can be controlled through baffles to manage hot and cold regions of the large space.
Without architectural diagrams it would be speculation to say but air flow into the rooms used by the President’s debate team could have been downstream or otherwise isolated from those of the Biden team. If live virus could be introduced into certain ducts it would spread to the President’s team and then be removed by HEPA filters used improve recirculated air flows. If this is the case there should be some small residual amount of virus in ducts at the point of injection but this is rapidly degenerating. Anyone smart enough to try this would also likely install a temporary UV light or antiseptic spray to kill the evidence of their deed. Just speculation but it fits the pattern of virus spread assuming the debate site was the source.

Yes, but why now? Many times in last several months when they were GOP crowds. Suddenly, few weeks before election & Supreme Court hearings, this happens. Seems too good to be true for the Rats’ side.
Is it the worst in 190 years? What about 1957 & 1968 influenza pandemics?
Or use it as an excuse not to prevent a vote on the Supreme Court Justice. Could be the arrow’s target.
Do you realize how small a virus particle is relative to grid size even in a n95 mask even if worn properly? Masks may help with virus laden droplets for a bit....all of us either will be or have been exposed to c19 .....and yes I think the demonrats would intentionally expose their opponents...

That at least has a chance of causing a delay, but they have a lot riding on the idea that this virus immediately kills everything in its path. They always seem to overplay their hand.

I am not much for conspiracy theories but this has me puzzled. NO DOUBT, much effort is being put forth by the SS and FBI/CDC trying to find the source. It is way to odd that that many republicans go the virus and no Dims. This may become very interesting.
The idea was to take Trump off the campaign trail!
The test itself? Who was handing out the masks? Not like they can’t be the source.
