I wondered about that. ALso the optics of not only cheating on your own wife while using them for political props, but also cheating with the wife of a soldier on deployment — the thing many soldiers fear, and which is a major distraction while trying to defend our country.
If the democrats had any morals at all, this would end his shot at the Senate.
THey had him dead to rights on the text messages. Denying it would almost force the media to go ask the woman, and she might not be as willing to lie about it.
But note that the text messages clearly state the intention for them to get together for sex, while he lies to his wife about being out of town.
By admitting to “texting sexual messages”, he pretty much insinuated that it was just fantasy. Since we do NOT have any evidence they got together, he can lie and say he never actually did anything. If she goes with the lie, the media will not do the simplest task of asking for his schedule, and then checking to see if the two people were in the same place at the same time.
If this was a republican, the New York Times would have 27 reporters on it.
She does have an unfortunate “ Karen” ‘do.

Agreed that they are not “offensive” insofar as the language used. They are offensive in the sense that they offend traditional morality ...a married man is being unfaithful to his wife and family, and would risk very public exposure of them to his shame/scandal. But since the general morality is degraded, they probably are not as offensive in this regard as well.
The content of the messages do seem quite juvenile too. Raises the question about his judgement and maturity... Cal, who (according to his campaign literature delivered into my mailbox yesterday) “was awarded one of the Army’s top honors for taking on corruption in Iraq.”
There is more underneath this story than the texts. The left media in NC is not going to inquire ... it is going to bury it as best as they can. They should be comparing it to John Edwards and his affair, and why they believe good old Cal, who is using his uniform as a prop, is entitled to stay in the race.
He is toast. Even if he tries to resign his commission for political reasons the UCMJ Art 134 would still dog him - by the way for non-Military affiliated Freeper’s, any nonjudicial punishment under the UCMJ is conducted as a federal matter, thus you have felony conviction for life. You could have charges dropped for Biden’s Cocaine by a DA like Harris but she could not dispose the federal conviction.
Hunter Biden may have a UCMJ record and thus if so, he has a federal conviction. That matter of Cocaine and discharge as a former officer would probably preclude Hunter from International Dealings or positions on American dealings.
I wonder if Hunter Biden is violation of numerous US Laws?
