This just in....
Bezos speculated about a close election or a Biden blowout. How about a Trump blowout? What would the left say?
The Leftists in America seem to be getting ready for this:

Pretty much all roads lead to some kind of civil war. The outcome, intensity, etc. are still to be determined. I recommend those leftists who are able to to invest in a firearm and become proficient in its use, and those unable to look into what noncombatant roles they can play.

That said, One of the few things the NAZI’s got right was that they supported the good guys in the Spanish Civil War. Given the legacy of death, torture, poverty and horror perpetrated by EVEY communist regime in history, supporting Franco was the right thing to do.
This is a good piece, and I’ve had similar thoughts. It’s hard NOT to see parallels between the 1930s Spanish left and antifa/BLM/Democrat party. The author’s novel insight here is that antifa/BLM/Democrats demonize “white privilege” and “whiteness” in the same way that the Soviet-backed Spanish left demonized Catholicism. The Spanish left sought to erase every vestige of old Catholic Spain in the same way that antifa/BLM/Democrats seek to erase American history, tear down monuments and remake society all toward the supposed goal of erasing “white privilege” and “systemic racism.” If brain-dead Joe wins, we will likely be at a point similar to where Spain was in 1931 with the beginning of the 2nd republic.

“The coup was less than a rousing success for the nationalist rebels, who invaded from their overseas bases. They failed to capture any major cities, which remained significant bases of support for the republican government. The republican government remained in possession of the lions share of Spanish territory. However, the republican government was at a disadvantage for two reasons: First, the nationalists had split the territory of peninsular Spain in half, dividing the country between republicans in the north and south while they controlled the middle.”
This is a bit of an oversimplification; many Army units in Spain itself, as well as much of the national police force, went over to the Army’s side immediately. Navarre was taken quickly by the monarchist requetes (separating Barcelona from the Basque country, which only supported the government in exchange for promises of autonomy - they didn’t massacre their clergy there, and were taken by the army within a year). Galicia (northwest Spain) went to the Army immediately, as did much of central Spain (without Army of Africa intervention); the African troops were key to seizing the south at the start - and from there they had to march (mostly on foot) northwards to have an impact.
The government mainly controlled urban areas at the onset, and predictably enough they could be starved out; raising crops was for the “little people” in the eyes of the Bolshevik and Anarchist intelligentsia. Like today’s leftists, they had little support among “normals”, and the government understood (as any non-radical Dems today do) that they had turned over control of the government to the leftist mobs as soon as they armed them.
