Trump’s New C19 Advisor Cites Research Showing Widespread Immunity! Calls Out CDC Head Redfield’s False Testimony to Stunned Press

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to watch a physicist try to explain quantum mechanics to a room full of delinquent kindergartners, we finally have a pretty good idea.

Most of our readers probably already know that Trump appointed Dr. Scott Atlas of Stanford University’s prestigious Hoover Institution to his COVID-19 task force last month.

As I noted when the good news broke:

Dr. Atlas is one of the thousands of medical experts the Democrats and their media enablers don’t want you to know about who’ve been trying to put the breaks on the suicidal, anti-science response to COVID-19 they’ve conned us into following.

Way back in April, Dr. Atlas tried to save America from the deadly quack medicine we were convinced to guzzle down like a junkie who’s stumbled on a gallon jug of cough syrup in an op-ed titled:

The Data Is in — Stop the Panic and End the Total Isolation.

He explained five facts that were already apparent a month after lockdowns started and some of which should have prevented anyone from ever even suggesting the heretofore unheard-of lunacy.

Fact 1:The overwhelming majority of people do not have any significant risk of dying from COVID-19. Fact 2: Protecting the older, at-risk population would have been sufficient to prevent hospital overcrowding, (which it turns out was never a danger anyway). Fact 3: Total isolation policies, if effective, PREVENT vital herd immunity and, hence, only PROLONG the problem. Fact 4: People are dying because medical care for other ailments was shut down due to hypothetical COVID-19 fatality projections (that were produced by a guy with a history of massively inflated projections and, predictably, turned out to be total garbage). Fact 5: We have a clearly defined population at risk who could’ve been better protected by adopting targeted measures. In May, Dr. Atlas tried to get the word out that the useless untargeted measures inflicted on us instead are going to kill far more people than even the most exaggerated projections about the virus’s death toll used to con us into accepting them.

At one point, Atlas suggested to one reporter, in essence, that he use his own brain to figure out whom to believe. That may be asking way too much of him.

If we have widespread immunity we should not need the Vaccine. Sounds like wasted energy fighting with the FDA over the standards.

I would just stop talking about a Vaccine if we have widespread immunity, this is mixed messaging. New infections are dropping right?

Widespread immunity doesn't equal total immunity, yet.

A vaccine would add to the widespread T cell and B cell immunity that is already out there and stop this thing in its tracks.

Here are the data for one state (Idaho) from the state's COVID-19 dashboard. If you are below age 60, your chance of dying is darn close to zero.

Remember, too, that this is aggregate data since the start of the pandemic. I'd wager that, if you looked at the same data for the past two or three months, you'd find significantly lower values of deaths because therapies have improved so much.

So, out of 1.6 million people, only ELEVEN under age 50 have died of COVID.

Also be aware that these are "COVID-Related" deaths which mixes Death OF COVID with Death WITH COVID.

We need more onerous restrictions so that the "sky is falling" crowd start cheating.
-You must wear gloves in addition to a mask
-you must wear booties and dispose of them when you walk into your house or office
-your mask, gloves, and booties must be thrown into special bags for a separate garbage pickup
-you must wear goggles
-you must disrobe and wash all your clothes every time you return home
-you must shower completely every time you return home
-every bus, train, and plane must be completely sterilized at the end of each trip in one direction
-etc.

Steer into the skid and call them out on the nonsense.

(Kind of like supporting a minimum wage of $500 per hour because if $15 per hour is right/critical/deserved, $500 would be even better).
