Biden campaign lawyers up for election-related court battles (Eric Holder heads effort)
Fox News ^ | September 14 2020 | Brooke Singman / FR Posted by knighthawk

The Biden campaign has been quietly building a massive "election protection program," including former Attorney General Eric Holder and hundreds of other lawyers in preparation for a legal battle in the event of a contested election.

The former vice president’s campaign told Fox News Monday that over the past several months they have created the largest election protection program in presidential campaign history, involving integrated legal, communications and political strategies for what they anticipate to be an unprecedented election.

The strategies, according to the campaign, are being directed to support election jurisdictions in preparing for and administering the vote under what they call “extraordinary conditions” this cycle, voter education to raise awareness of options for in-person and mail-in voting, aggressive responses to vote suppression activities, and robust programs for identifying and countering foreign interference and misinformation from foreign or domestic sources.(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...

ANALYSIS----Eric Holder heads Biden's legal battle in the eve nt of a contested election?

Yawn. We have n-o-t-h-i-n-g to worry about.

STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE: The USSC ruled in the Bush/Gore fiasco that it was a violation of the “one man, one vote” to only partially count and SINCE they couldn't count the whole state, Gore's partial recount was invalid. When the USSC stepped in due to brilliant legal moves by Bush's lawyer, former Secy of State James Baker..... they ordered the count be stopped.

This seemed to be an acknowledgement of the Democrats' proclivity to count, recount, then count again but only until they had the votes need to win.

In his book about losing the election, Gore related that everytime his lawyers moved in, Bush's lawyer were one step ahead of them.

Interesting read. But it points out yet again, that we need to be aware of the electoral vote. Ideally, we would always look to state by state polls, as opposed to national polls. I don’t know if the polling outfits gear their polls to state by state analysis.

Or could it be, that the Democrat or media types who tend to be liberal, like the national polls and report them because they always show Biden in the lead?

“Where they go” is the biggest indicator of where both Campaigns see the race.”

Good news - Biden’s basement may be in play. Anyone know how many electoral votes come with it?

“The trip to Nevada is particularly interesting as it is a state that Clinton carried in 2008, and the Hispanic vote in Nevada — especially unionized workers in Clark County/Las Vegas — tilt the state in favor of Democrats in most recent statewide races. The vestiges of Harry Reid’s Democrat party machine remain strong throughout the state. “

I wrote Harry Reid’s only biography, an expose of bribes and Mafia connections. Sadly, I got zero support from the Republican establishment and my hard work was buried.

That said, one of my sources was Harry Reid’s original campaign manager, who was at one point high up in casino management. But at one time he was with the corrupt Culinary Union and busted a few heads for them.

When people talk about Reid’s machine, a good chunk of that was the Culinary Union, which could deliver captive workers, many Hispanic housekeepers/servers/etc, to vote. They would bus them en masse.

But with only 30% of the casinos open for business, all that Culinary arm twisting goes away. And Dem Governor Sisolak is hated for killing jobs with a draconian lockdown. Finally, students won’t be the activists they were, they are stuck at home.

So I wouldn’t count the Dem skunks out, but Nevada may very well be in play.

"Because of that he might win the national popular vote by 5 million votes. But Trump might nevertheless still win more states in the electoral college in 2020 than he won in 2016...",br>

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all that counts.

How does Trump improve his Hispanic vote while decreasing her other categories? Why would more Hispanics vote for him while supposedly receiving less women ?

IMHO it will come down to the Roman Catholic vote. RCs have voted for the GOP winner four times since 1952.

It's essential Roman Catholics come out in favor of Trump.

I don’t know why anyone would deceive themselves that a mid election year can be compared to an actual Presidential year. We crushed Obama in 2010 and he won in 2012.
