American Thinker is on par with the improved but still weak Gateway Pundit as being desperately in need of an editor and basic fact checking. I find myself more often than not simply skipping past their posted content.

Frankly, FR's commenters are the best/better than pretty much any site around. FReepers are the best source of information content. I still fact-check and get into demolition derby-type arguments but it makes me smarter. This site bested every site during the pandemic and she continues besting the rest.

I still do not understand why Jim let’s articles from GP get posted here.

I can only surmise it is not a result of professional achievement and standards, but because Kristin works there now.

GP is deceptively sensationalist, and usually only adds a layer of hyperbole to something more soundly reported elsewhere.
