Cruz would be perhaps the BEST Supreme Court Justice ever! Better than Scalia...on par with Bork...if he were able to be on it!
I was an early Cruzer. In hindsight he is an excellent senator and would be a great supreme. But as for POTUS I e we Pyle like to see him do a stint as governor first. I won’t write him off as is the case with many fellow Freepers. Kisses!
Some might say, “not sure I wanna write him off of politics,” but maybe we should all admit that the SCOTUS has become a political body. It doesn’t really have an unbiased hermeneutic going into its interpretations anymore. Sure Originalism is the closest thing to an authentic interpretation of the words of the document. But Originalism is not succeeding well in the SCOTUS decisions.
It is to humor him at best. There is no way in the world that Cuban Canadian Lyn’ Ted belongs on our Supreme Court. He should resign from Congress and spend time with his family if they want to have them even around.
Well, Ted Cruz has gotten under my skin more times than I can count especially his speech at the Republican Convention in 2016 but his position as Texas Solicitor General in perserving the death penalty for a Mexican citizen who was part of a group in the Pena/Ertman rape and murders. IIRC, Bush was about to cave because of a treaty with the world court but withdrew from the treaty.......anyway Cruz got that vile little punk along with 2 others to the gurney.....one got life because he was a minor. Look it up......it was only second to the Henley/Brooks murders of 27 or more boys in Houston in the 70’s. I think he would make a great Supreme Court Justice....one thing is for sure, he knows the law and will support the Constitution.

Yes, Ted, President Trump did indeed bestow a honor upon you... Remember, Ted, It was that man of law at Harvard that described you as claiming to follow the ‘original’ intent of our Constitution... Remember, Ted, OUR US Constitution... not some variation of what first benefits you. Some of US know full well that you know full well what the ‘original’ intent of ‘natural born’ US citizenship literally means.... That ‘god’ of Harvard knows full well the ‘original’ intent, of ‘natural born’ US citizenship means... too bad we have many calling themselves on the ‘right’ willingly ignorant, and yet ‘pray’ for God’s blessing, and willingly ignore what gives US those blessings.
