Not a well written article.
Does not say where the Tiger came from.
Did it escape from a Zoo?
Did it escape from a person who owned it?
Better check census at http://www.tigerhaven.org/
in nearby Kingston TN
I hope they don’t kill it and instead safely return it to where it belongs.
Stay away from regional lakes and ponds especially at night, when tigers come out to feed.
It belongs in the wild in its native habitat....but that boat already sailed...
Both Knoxville Zoo and Tiger Haven have stated their tigers are accounted for.
"A Tiger! In Tennessee?"
Maybe Dolly can sing a song or two and the tiger
will come calling for a bowl of milk.
Bringing up Baby
They should alert people owning little dogs to make sure they put out crackers for the tiger to use when it eats them.
"The Knox County Sheriffs Office Patrol Units, Animal Control, Air Watch, TWRA, KPDs Animal Control Unit and Representatives with Tiger Haven are working to locate a tiger that was spotted by a KCSO Deputy in the Forks of the River Industrial Park tonight".
Well, we do have some Bobcats around here, but Tigers only show up for football games
We could try what they did in India: stake a bleating liberal out in the front yard and wait for nightfall. When the “free healthcare!” whining turns to screams you’re in business. If you miss the shot the tiger dines and you can try again the next night.
Hi.
What kind of tiger?
Like Detroit? Or Cincinnati?
Bayou kind? Oz?
5.56mm
Sing it!
Hey I live just across the line in Kentucky and it has been a weird week for the Knoxville area. Yesterday a small plane set down on the interstate there, ran out of gas. No damage, refueled and took off again.
Also yesterday in a neighboring small town a family called the police, they looked out the window and saw a topless woman eating grass and dirt and then she proceeded to try and eat the mane on the families miniature horse! She told the police the mane looked like Laffy Taffy and Airheads! As expected she was taking a meth tweaker trip at the time.
This morning a tiger is on the loose and prowling around the county/city. Next up dogs and cats living together in East Tennessee, mass hysteria!!!

Since September of 2015, there have been a few confirmed sightings of cougars in Tennessee, but in West Tenn.
