Bob Woodward: General James Mattis Plotted Overthrow of U.S. Government…
CONSERVATIVE TREEHOUSE ^ | 9/9/2020 | SUNDANCE

Posted on 09/09/2020 7:47:32 PM PDT by bitt

According to a pre-release excerpt from the Washington Post Bob Woodward writes about a discussion between General James Mattis and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats about a plot to overthrow the elected government of the United States.

[…] “Mattis quietly went to Washington National Cathedral to pray about his concern for the nation’s fate under Trump’s command and, according to Woodward, told Coats, “There may come a time when we have to take collective action” since Trump is “dangerous. He’s unfit.” (read more)

What do you call a conversation between the Defense Secretary and the head of the U.S. intelligence apparatus where they are talking about taking “collective action” to remove an elected President? That’s called sedition…. A seditious conspiracy.

As alarming as that sounds on its face, this actually aligns with our own previous research into key military leadership, the joint chiefs, and their corrupt intent to overthrow the elected government. Readers will remember when we noted this very issue after Lt. General Alexander Vindman compromised his position yet was not removed by his command structure within the Pentagon.

NOVEMBER 2019 – […] For emphasis let me repeat a current fact that is being entirely overlooked. Despite his admitted usurpation of President Trump policy, Vindman was sent back to his post in the NSC with the full support of the United States Department of Defense.

The onus of action to remove Vindman from the NSC does not just lay simply at the feet of the White House and National Security advisor Robert O’Brien; and upon whose action the removal of Vindman could be positioned as political; the necessary, albeit difficult or perhaps challenging, obligation to remove Lt. Col Vindman also resides purposefully with the Dept. of Defense....

“I have not heard of Trump doing anything to purge the military of Obama’s Affirmative Action SJW replacements”

That is because Trump has been heavily boxed in by the GOPe. Between Mitch and Ryan holding the threat of impeachment over his head the first 2 years, a permanent impeachment effort that Mitch allowed to go on for almost 3 months, a snakey Pence ready to step up with a “heavy heart” to return the GOPe to power. Between FBI and CIA spies INSIDE the White House, he has done well to even survive.
My estimate is that he has only possessed about 40% of the power a President rightfully should have.

You should maybe consider that.

Obama’s Military Coup Purges 197 Officers In Five Years

10/29/2013

Defense: What the president calls “my military” is being cleansed of any officer suspected of disloyalty to or disagreement with the administration on matters of policy or force structure, leaving the compliant and fearful.

We recognize President Obama is the commander-in-chief and that throughout history presidents from Lincoln to Truman have seen fit to remove military commanders they view as inadequate or insubordinate. Turnover in the military ranks is normal, and in these times of sequestration and budget cuts the numbers are expected to tick up as force levels shrink and missions change.

Yet what has happened to our officer corps since President Obama took office is viewed in many quarters as unprecedented, baffling and even harmful to our national security posture. We have commented on some of the higher profile cases, such as Gen. Carter Ham. He was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command after only a year and a half because he disagreed with orders not to mount a rescue mission in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi.

Rear Adm. Chuck Gaouette, commander of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, was relieved in October 2012 for disobeying orders when he sent his group on Sept. 11 to “assist and provide intelligence for” military forces ordered into action by Gen. Ham.

Other removals include the sacking of two nuclear commanders in a single week — Maj. Gen. Michael Carey, head of the 20th Air Force, responsible for the three wings that maintain control of the 450 intercontinental ballistic missiles, and Vice Adm. Tim Giardina, the No. 2 officer at U.S. Strategic Command.

From Breitbart.com’s Facebook page comes a list of at least 197 officers that have been relieved of duty by President Obama for a laundry list of reasons and sometimes with no reason given. Stated grounds range from “leaving blast doors on nukes open” to “loss of confidence in command ability” to “mishandling of funds” to “inappropriate relationships” to “gambling with counterfeit chips” to “inappropriate behavior” to “low morale in troops commanded.”

Nine senior commanding generals have been fired by the Obama administration this year, leading to speculation by active and retired members of the military that a purge of its commanders is under way.

Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, an outspoken critic of the Obama administration, notes how the White House fails to take action or investigate its own officials but finds it easy to fire military commanders “who have given their lives for their country.” Vallely thinks he knows why this purge is happening.

“Obama will not purge a civilian or political appointee because they have bought into Obama’s ideology,” Vallely said. “The White House protects their own. That’s why they stalled on the investigation into Fast and Furious, Benghazi and ObamaCare. He’s intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.”

Another senior retired general told TheBlaze on the condition of anonymity, because he still provide services to the government and fears possible retribution, that “they’re using the opportunity of the shrinkage of the military to get rid of people that don’t agree with them or do not toe the party line. Remember, as (former White House chief of staff) Rahm Emanuel said, never waste a crisis.”

For President Obama, the military of a once-feared superpower is an anachronistic vestige of an America whose exceptionalism and world leadership require repeated apologies. It must be gutted and fundamentally transformed into a force wearing gender-neutral headgear only useful for holding the presidential umbrella when it rains. It is to be “his” military and used only for “his” purposes.

The corrupt benefactors of the corrupt system want Trump gone and will do or say anything to make that happen.

I expect this sort of scurrilous hogwash daily, and the nature of the attacks to become more and more unhinged as November approaches.

Caution for those piling on Woodward...He records everything. Look at Mattis and the others.

Woodward may subjectively interpret things differently, but he’s generally clean with the facts.

The scene described by Woodward would be best characterized as SEDITION.

Here is my unprofessional take on this.

What will Matis and Coats say? Of course they will deny this? The media will side with them. So, if this is false and made up by Woodward, then it undermines his book as fanciful nonsense.

The only way that President Trump will have his 61 million plus supporters break from him is if he pulls a Bush 41 and sides with the Democrats on some bill or something like that. Other than that - and I do not see it happening - President Trump will carry his 61 million plus supporters along with the millions of Democrats, independents, and libertarians who have had enough of the riots and lockdowns.

I see the Dems between a rock and hard place. If Biden takes the stage in a debate and sounds like he does in his limited appearances, he is toast. If he cancels the debates for any reason, he is toast. Now, is Biden and his handlers smart enough to make him look like he is in the early stages of dementia, and then come out on the stage energentic and ready to go? Are they playing a rope a dope? I do not see that as being possible.

Just my two cents.

***Bob Woodward writes about a discussion between General James Mattis and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats about a plot to overthrow the elected government of the United States***

It is obvious that Can Costs was a DS loyalist and not loyal to Trump. Finally POTUS removed Coats and placed Ric Grenell as DNI. Grenell served notice on Adam Schiff to release all the 'secret' impeachment testimony or he would do it. Obviously Coats was willing to sit by and let POTUS face impeachment while siding with Schiff on hiding copious exculpatory information. Coats = Slime; Grenell = Hero.

***Despite his admitted usurpation of President Trump policy, Vindman was sent back to his post in the NSC with the full support of the United States Department of Defense***

My understanding is that Vindman has been reassigned from NSC. Be that as it may, he should have been court martialed. It seems likely that Vindman has powerful protection from outside the administration. Also, it is now generally recognized that Vindman was the impeachment whistleblower and Ciaramella was just a vehicle to set Vindman at arm's length. Ciaramella admitted from the start that he had no first hand information, that someone who did 'told him of it.' Vindman used Ciaramella as a cutout with Adam Schiff.

Mattis worked for the President. In his resignation letter letter never mentioned that. He mentioned the troops but never acknowledged the man he worked for.

Mattis worked for the American people and the Constitution and was legally bound to support the President that the American people had lawfully elected.

Did he record CIA Director William Casey on his deathbed? He might record stuff, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t edit it. I wouldn’t trust Bob Woodward or any liberal journalist to be honest about anything they’ve recorded.
