Council member Phyllis Cleveland said she is concerned that police are not adequately responding to block parties and gatherings that have led to disturbances across the city.

Cops who do show up and stop the stupid are accused of harassment, etc....now, if they don't this genius of an idiot asks why they don't do anything.

It’s out of control because of quarantines, closures, and restrictions. There’s nothing to go “downtown” for. Without a critical mass of workers, tourists, conventions, sports events, and people living in or near the city going to a restaurant, museum, sports/cultural event etc., the criminal element is what remains. It was a huge mistake not to open EVERYTHING up after the George Floyd protests turned rioting/looting made it very clear what quarantine would lead to. JMHO
