Curious as to how Europe has been reporting covid deaths so there is an apples to apples comparison. I understand Germany which has the lowest per capita rates of covid deaths in Europe will only report a death as covid if they definitively determine after autopsy that covid was the exclusive cause of death not co morbitities.

The virus has become a fear based religion for many people. I’m so sick of them on Facebook posting 20 paragraph diatribes against anyone who dares to open a business or school.
Yes they are, but it's not what you think it is. The CDC is confirming that most of the people who have died from COVID-19 had other underlying health issues. Not necessarily anything fatal by itself, but combined with COVID-19, a lot of people who would have otherwise lived for years have died. Roughly 190,000 of them by now. Probably more, judging by the excess mortality figures.

The media always works to drum up fear because fear keeps eyes on the screen, which helps sell ads. Nothing new there either.

Around 200,000 people beyond normal ranges have died this year (i.e. "excess mortality" or "excess deaths"). It's no smallpox, but best estimates are that 0.65% of those who become infected with COVID-19 will die from it. Putting that number into perspective, 0.65% of 330 million is 2,145,000. Thankfully we'll never get close to that. The R0 best estimate is 2.5, meaning the herd immunity threshold should be around 60% and we'll reach that 60% with one or more safe and effective vaccines President Trump should be announcing next month.
Latest excess mortality figures here: Excess Deaths. We've had significant excess deaths every single week this year since March. Doctors around the country and around the world who would be risking their careers and their medical licenses (possibly even jail time) have stated that at least most of these excess deaths are due to COVID-19, mostly as the underlying cause of death (UCOD) with something else listed as the immediate cause of death.

Diabetes is an underlying health problem that dramatically increases the risk of death for anyone who catches COVID-19. But according to your logic, if I shoot a guy who has diabetes, he didn't die of a gunshot wound because he had diabetes too. Nevermind that he would have lived for years with that condition being managed.

It was and is very contagious. But if you are healthy you might never know you had it. It was the thing that pushed you over the edge if you had other problems.
It is also acting like every other virus by mutating into a less deadly version of itself as time goes on.

Do you know how many people die annually of “just the flu”?
I’ll give you a hint - it’s a smallish 3 digit number, much smaller than 6% of the total deaths attributed to the flu.
This “not a pandemic” fabrication is the same BS propaganda that GP and others have repeatedly pushed from the beginning. People that repeat it are simply displaying their ignorance. “Nobody” dies from the tens of millions of flu cases that occur each year. “Nobody” dies from the tens of millions of common cold cases each year. They all die from opportunistic infections or preexisting conditions. This is the MO of many diseases. The people pushing this “not a pandemic” claim have an agenda - you can guess what it is.
Someone should do a study using official death figures from the past several years. Establish a baseline death rate for the major, normal natural causes of death: heart disease, cancer, respiratory, etc. Then compare the death rates from those causes for the period of March-August, 2020. Any bets that the death rates in those categories for that period are way below expectations? If that’s the case, it would strongly imply that many deaths coded as covid deaths are miscoded.
