-----In Wyoming a hunter left his rifle in camp as he went a short ways into the woods to relieve himself. A moose stepped out of the brush right in front of him and he shot it dead with his .45 Double Derringer. A grizzly was nearby and tried to claim the carcass by attacking him, but once again the little .45 Double Derringer came to the rescue, killing the bear at a distance of a few feet.

Mine is a High Standard DM-101 .22 Magnum. Two shots with two trigger pulls, hidden hammer, no jam, no snag. Gunsmithed the little item myself to have a lesser trigger pull than factory. Beautiful little piece of joy.

Don't ever get a derringer where you have to cock the hammer. You won't have time to do that.

Nice two shot pistols.
The only problem is if you run into one Antifa, one BLM, or one carjacking protester forty more usually come out of the shadows.
These days it not just about carrying the right weapon. It’s also about carrying enough ammo. No one usually calls for police until someone has been beaten to within an inch of their life.
