US Schools already teach the wonders of socialism. But they should be forced to teach the truth. Stalin, Hitler, all the others were socialists. 100 million dead in the 20th century. For no benefit at all. It is an awful philosophy. We know this.
Antifa was the German Communist Party paramilitary thugs.
(German: Nationalsozialismus) “ The National Socialist German Workers’ Party, ..The truth is most of the people calling Conservatives NAZIS have never had a substantive history class
What’s in a name? The National Socialist Workers Party NAZIs were fascist to the core. The Anti-Fascists, AntiFa were communist Marxists and socialists. Both had anti Jewish elements. Today we see a power struggle where their are people of the left who want power by any means. The rest is rhetoric.

Of course they were. It’s in the name.
Keep in mind the NAZI’s were also the Government.
Glad to see there are younger people with sense.
Ive been telling people for years that Nazis were and are leftists to the core. But all the definitions say they are right-wing. I always point out what Nazis believe, then ask how is that possibly right-wing? No one can ever tell me anything even halfway reasonable after that. Most just say, Look up any definition, they all say right wing. Almost mindlessly.
there was an online book I read on my Amazon reader which included letters from Goebbels and Hitler and these letter made it clear that they were going to nationalize corporations eventually.
Duh! N.A.Z.I. stands for National Socialist Workers Party
Gen Z joined today and already has linked to his own blog. Isnt that some kind of record?
Sorry Gen Z, I should have added something to my post #18. Youre probably not aware of this, but its considered poor form to link to your own blog. Instead, just cut-and-paste the whole article here.
Oh, and welcome to FR!

True. Both nazis and communists were the bastard sons by different philosophical mothers, of the German Philosopher Hegel.
“Controversial problems [between Germany and Russia] did not, in my opinion, exist anywhere along the line from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea and to the Far East. In addition, despite all the divergencies in their views of life, there was one thing common to the ideology of Germany, Italy and the Soviet Union: opposition to the capitalist democracies in the West.”—Julius Schnurre, Nazi trade rep to Russia.
Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by Shirer. Page 501 in my copy,
Not sure how that's hard to miss.
I like Joseph Goebbels statement in discussing National Socialism when he said national is an adjective.
We know it was the socialists who started long before the Nazis the hatred of the free lancing Gypsy and free lancing jew (denounced by accademic fearing jews at the boot of the state)
Can’t get much more socialist than a government-sponsored car called the “Folks Wagon (People’s Car)”..
I told this to a co-worker many years ago and he got all upset saying it was not true. Next I mention Soros and he thought the guy was a good guy.
He later moved to San Francisco. I wonder what he thinks of the city now. He said he was going to use the bus to get to his new job so he gets to be on the bus with the homeless and step around the waste and the tents on the sidewalk. He had to have 2 roommates to afford the rent with at his new place.
Straight from the horse’s mouth:
We are socialists because we see the social question as a matter of necessity and justice for the very existence of a state for our people, not a question of cheap pity or insulting sentimentality. The worker has a claim to a living standard that corresponds to what he produces. We have no intention of begging for that right Since the political powers of the day are neither willing nor able to create such a situation, socialism must be fought for. It is a fighting slogan both inwardly and outwardly. It is aimed domestically at the bourgeois parties and Marxism at the same time, because both are sworn enemies of the coming workers state. It is directed abroad at all powers that threaten our national existence and thereby the possibility of the coming socialist national state.
-Josef Goebbels
The Nazis disavowed “Marxism”, not Socialism. Although really it’s a distinction without a difference.
