I’m prepped but not on 5.56, which I pray I never need.
I’d just like to have a bit more because I think it might be even more difficult to obtain in the future.
Now, this past week, I thought I looked at an XDS online - I thought it said $392, which is not doable for me now. Seems just a few days later, I could only find it for $524. I must have been looking at two different versions.
Well, then I’d need .45.
I’m all for prepping. Not saying it’s a perfect plan. But in this pandemic and Democrat looting, I’d rather not be completely unprepared. I don’t have great food; but I do have stuff to eat. And a couple of outdoor grills. Neighbor gave me a used one a couple weeks ago. Told me to pay him by grilling some BBQ something (probably be chicken - have pork chops). Hopefully soon.
If you don’t have ammo by now, it’s probably too late unless you want to pay $1/rd.
Guns can be found - a lot of desperate people on gunbroker right now.
