2. The announcement involves someone connected to President Trump in an attempt to embarrass and besmirch the President.
3. The crimes are suspect at best, and are amplified by wording and reporting. (Powell has said Weissmann could make a birthday gift to your grandma look like a crime.)
4. There is no indication Bannon did anything wrong.
5. The MSM blasts the bogus indictment across the airwaves when announced.
6. The accusation is the accused spent 1% of donations on their expenses related to the fund raiser for building a wall on the Southern border. The SDNY makes it sound like they embezzled like the Clinton Foundation which never will be investigated by the SDNY.
7. New York is no where near the Southern border per our latest review of Google maps.

It may be the single person standing in the way of indictments was this Attorney. He many not, but it is an odd coincidence?

Bannon is a dumb ass who handed the SDNY a case on a silver platter, a U.S. Attorney’s Office that is collecting Republican scalps anyway they can.
However, they have made many mistakes and smart lawyers have smoked out big problem with their indictment. For startes, not a single victim is cited in the indictment. Several donors on FR have said that they weren’t victimized even though Kolfege got a salary after promising he wouldn’t. So we have a crime without a victim. That’s a problem. While they have all of the financial records, they have not tied it together to prove their assertions. The regulations on not for profits are very strict and details, yet the indictment does not allege a violation of any of those regulations. This is a problem.
They did not expect the push back that they’ve gotten from the public. They thought that no one would notice that they were throwing under the bus a combat veteran who is a triple amputee in order to get to Bannon. Kolfage probably got bad advice, but his only problem is that may have put his trust in a guy who doesn’t bother with the details (Bannon).
Bannon is not a dumb ass.
To you he may be, but there are areas that he is incredibly smart.

There is no proof but the charges against Maxwell came 11 days after he was fired.
He is a genius. However he can't be bothered with administration and legal details. Of course, people like him get someone to take care of this. Did he fail to do this, or did he ignore their advice? I don't know, but he's hurting Trump right now.
What is the deal on the gag order? On what basis could they get one imposed, especially on those who are not directly associated with the case. A gag order on Media personalities? Is that constitutional (1st Amendment?)

There aren't any problems here at all. The indictments are for conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to commit wire fraud; they don't pertain to the alleged fraud with the not-for-profit.
The assumption is that the indictments are over the operation of the not-for-profit; they're not. (They're over the movement of money; no victims are needed.)

Depends on the judge. Most Federal Judges will grant a gag order to keep the defendant to reveal that the U.S. Attorney is having an affair with his wife.
