If one of those marxists had killed someone with a gun or some other weapon, what would have happened to the killer? With a large mob constantly moving about and causing confusion, it would be very difficult for the police to catch the culprit. Would the killer have gotten away with it?

Not only an American hero... he’s also a PEACEKEEPER. After Kyle’s Tuesday evening, peace returned to Kenosha. The arsons and terror ended.
I doubt that the kid would do it again; he is very, very lucky to be alive. But it is amazing that it was a 17 year old boy who stopped these murderous arsonists, anarchists and looters in their tracks. If the authorities want peace... they need to make a quick decision and call it what it was; self defense. Eveyone of those shot was a fraction of a second away from killing this kid. It is a miracle that he survived, either the hand of God was protecting him or his survival instincts were better than most.

Red shirt guy charges Rittenhouse and gets shot. Good shoot. Good as in justified self defense.
Rittenhouse has the decency to circle around and see that red shirt is being attended to before fleeing. He calls 911 on his cell letting them know what’s happening before he leaves the scene.
He’s then chased by a bunch of Antifa hooligans, trips and falls. Skateboard guy’s attack is weaker than suggested in the still photos but is still an attack and he gets shot. Medic guy’s attack is more deliberate than suggested in the still photos and he gets shot. Score: two more good shoots.
Rittenhouse’s shoots made the Antifa scatter, leaving him space to jog towards the police vehicles unthreatened.
He’s going to get some technical gun charges but the video clearly shows he acted in self defense.
