A man and his stepdaughter were killed and a third person was severely injured after all three were shot following a minor traffic accident on Highway 521 between Georgetown and Andrews Monday afternoon.
Georgetown County Coroner Kenny Johnson has identified the two who were killed as 45-year-old Charles Nicholas Wall and 21-year-old Laura Ashley Anderson. The surviving victim has been identified by family members as Paul McConnell. He remains hospitalized with a head and other injuries.
When the incident was dispatched, deputies were told there had been a fender bender accident at the intersection of Highway 521 and Indian Hut Road and shots had been fired.
When deputies, EMS, and firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw three people had been shot. The suspect ran from the scene on foot, leaving his car behind.

According to warrants, Ty Sheem Ha Sheem Walter, III, of Moncks Corner, shot Charles Wall at least twice in the upper torso, resulting in his death. The second victim, Laura Anderson, was hit in the head, resulting in her death.
A third person was hit once with a bullet and struck in the head and face with the gun, according to warrants.

I am guessing that we won’t be hearing much about this, but major coverage of the 17 year old alleged white militia shooter who killed two rioters who were attacking him in Wisconsin.
It is time to stop keeping any statistics, except medical, by race. The nation will never heal while someone’s race is the most important characteristic. A headline “black man killed by white policeman” is very different from “man shot while resisting arrest.” The second one actually gives some important information.
