the fact that steve garvey couldn’t keep it in the pants is a weird reason to give up on all professional sports.
I even refuse to check scores, standings and highlights.
I have no idea what is happening in the world of MLB and don’t care.
And I used to watch or listen to, at least part of 100 games per year. And always the playoffs/series.
let me save you the trouble; your team lost. again.
I can’t get past the little league toddler rule to put a runner on 2B in extra innings.
“I gave up on ALL Sports after seeing what they did to Steve Garvey for cheating on the Family Channels little darling, his Wife Cindy.”
Had to look it up. Cindy at least got a book deal out of it. Steve Garvey was almost as successful as Steven Seagal, who managed two wives and a pregnant girlfriend at the same time.

I am repulsed by the Fake audience.
Not only does most of the fake news of the MSM get a turn off from me. Why would I want to watch fake bodies and images in the near stands ?
I haven’t been to an MLB game in person since the strike that cancelled the 1994 World Series. My employer forced our entire workforce to take a 5% pay cut in 1993, so the 1994 players’ strike repulsed me. I haven’t watched a game on TV since the introduction of the ads behind home plate, visible from the center field camera. When I glance up at a game on TV when I’m at my gym, I cringe when I see the electronic strike zone. Had I still been a fan, this year’s anti-American display would have further repulsed me. I’m done with professional sports. I’ll watch a Jane Fonda movie before I watch MLB, NFL, or NBA.
Wow, had not heard that. We adult softball players are no longer allowed to slide into Home.
It appears obvious you didn’t understand anything I wrote, because that isn’t what I said. Here is a link to help you understand the big words I used:

Same here, no baseball for me.
“I even refuse to check scores, standings and highlights.

Amen
The entire Sports Industry changed overnight and gave up on decency and morality.
Same here, and I usually watched the All-Star Game, even though I knew at the time THAT was bunk.
I went to two world series here in Toronto in 92 and 93. I was at game 6 when Joe Carter hit the second walk off home run to end a series. That for a fan was the mountain top. I still remained an avid fan for a few years but I’ve been coming down off that mountain for a long time now. Stopped watching when MLB went full homo some years ago now. These latest things are just pounding the rubble for me at this point.
Seagal spoke out against the protests during the United States national anthem by professional athletes, stating, “I believe in free speech, I believe that everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but I don’t agree that they should hold the United States of America or the world hostage by taking a venue where people are tuning in to watch a football game and imposing their political views.” He also expressed skepticism of alleged Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections.
Yep, MLB instituted the rule wherein extra innings start with a runner on 2B. Last batter out from the prior inning starts the extra inning on 2B. Rules for babies.
Love to watch baseball. Dodgers are in first place, I watch a replay most afternoons of the previous days game, granted I only watch from the start of the game to the end but have yet to see any “commie” behaviour.
I’d rather watch Cricket anyway. Takes more skill than just being able to jack a pitch every 20th at bat, and strike out the rest of the time.
