Why are masks pointless?
Smallest perforation in typical N-95 mask: ~10 microns
Size of Covid 19 virus: 0.05 micron.
An N-95 mask is as effective against the virus as a chain link fence is against mosquitoes.
If SMELL can get through the mask, the virus likely can get through the mask.

I have been told by a microbiologist neighbor that while the virus is .05 microns the fat cell in which it is contained is larger than the N95 openings. Whether it’s true or makes a difference just three it out there.
