I don’t doubt at all that Trump’s enemies are many and powerful. I just don’t see how if they planned on assassinating him that they would give advance notice.

There have been several attempts already.

I think he is going to lay low while Durham unveils his indictments in the next few weeks.

Don’t forget there are other US Attys quietly investigating other people concurrently. We could see one hell of a rodeo soon.

You might consider reading about how intelligence gathering works.

As you say, it is extremely rare for an opponent to announce their plans in advance.

Therefore, one of the main functions of intelligence analysts is to infer what is planned from human, photographic, or signals intelligence sources.

None of those things are planned releases by the enemy, but they can be very valuable in frustrating enemy attacks.

Similarly, just the pronouncement of increased security measures may be sufficient to frustrate some attacks.
