George Floyd: You Cannot Fool All of the People All of the Time

A British newspaper somehow came into possession of bodycam footage of the beginning of the police encounter between Minneapolis police officers and George Floyd. It reveals a man behaving irrationally from the moment the police arrive. He is uncooperative with the police. His erratic behavior caused the officers to wonder if he was under the influence of drugs. One of Floyd's acquaintances implied he has psychiatric problems.

Indeed, this newly published information by the UK’s Daily Mail, validates the points I made in my May 31 Houston Courant column defending Officer Chauvin. I noted the omissions of fact by the media and pundits in their zeal to condemn Officer Chauvin.

Now two questions remain and they are quite the opposite of the other.

One questions asks if the arrest-related-death of George Floyd is really an example of a brutal murder by police of an innocent man?

The other question asks if the arrest-related-death of George Floyd was exploited by political opportunists to sow chaos? Is it being used to make a prejudicial appeal for mob justice by stoking racial divisiveness; by inflaming the inherent hatred of police extant in certain quarters; and by the old tried and true method of "yellow journalism?"

I saw the video - he does not shut up the entire time.

They keep telling him to sit down and relax and he won’t stop telling them “wait wait wait let me talk to you wait please sir wait let me talk to you please sir wait wait...” for the ENTIRE time.

And when they first stop him he won’t keep his hands on the steering wheel and keeps reaching over to the right- I’ve seen video of bodycam footage where a guy does that and seconds later pulls up a gun and shoots the officer- he’s LUCKY he was not shot right then and there.

I could never be a cop. The officer is going to be in trouble for kneeling on his neck - and he was STUPID not to stop... But I honestly don’t believe he had his whole weight on his neck (from the body position). He’s just a cop who was not going to listen to anyone because he’s right he’s mister law and blah blah blah…

I’ve met cops like that. There is NOTHING worse than an asshole with a badge. And now he’s going to pay for it.

In my much younger days (the ‘70s) I had several bad experiences with people on drugs. Until you've been there, you cannot imagine the strength drugs give people when they are out of their head. Nor can you imagine the resistance to pain drugs can provide.

This new video clearly indicates that this guy was whacked out of his mind, from the very beginning. I don't blame anyone that didn't approach him with EXTREME caution. Having a gun pointed at him the entire time is the minimum I would have done.

I have said for a long time that if you want these kinds of incidents to cease, equip cops with tranquilizer guns. And I mean something that would stop a rino. Expecting people to just carry flowers as they go to interact with people out of minds like this guy was is insane.

This additional video does prove that sean hannity and his, "I always wait for the facts" have proven him to be just another media bullshit artist.

He has been trying to throw the switch at the gas chamber on the cop with his knee on floyd's neck since this went public.

The vaunted, "Wait for all the facts" meme that hannity spouted for the past 25 years turned to, "He's guilty of murder, get the rope".

I have a very hard time watching his program, and only occasionally watch a guest on his show.

Hannity is FNC's version {better looking} of cnn's brian stelter.

Instead of playing the kneeling clip over and over and over again hour after hour, and even right up to today, they should have immediately released the body cam video. But, if they had done that, they might not have gotten the riot they were hoping to provoke or would have had to work harder to get it.

You are totally correct. They are responsible for murder, both with the false Floyd narrative and suppression of the HCQ + zinc cure. Capital punishment is a reasonable judgement.
