I’m asking because I had a couple skirmishes with the individual you named, and they still give me a pain in the pit of my stomach.
Undoubtedly one of the rudest, crudest, vilest, most abusive trolls I’ve seen on any online forum.
I try to be polite and cordial to one and all. But I absolutely will not put up with name-calling or abuse.
Nor should anyone else on Free Republic. We need to hold ourselves to a higher standard than the left-wing criminals we fight against.

I think Humblegunner passed away, and his account is used by some lowlife relative.
HG was a useful contributor to FR until about 2017 or so. He posted lots of stuff pertinent to the Greater Houston area and Montgomery county.
I remember locking horns with him in a debate about the Texas Governor race ca. 2014; he thought she wasn't qualified because she's a nurse.
We don't always agree, but something has changed drastically in the last few years, and now HG is, as you said, an abusive troll.
