The SCOTUS Justices who ended segregation qualify as liberals. Justices who require that states allow continued operation of Jane Crow health facilities don't qualify as liberals. . A Jane Crow facility provides health care to black women but doesn't have to meet the same high standards as facilities that treat white men.
The 14th Amendment requires states to guarantee "the equal protection of the laws." Unfortunately ultraconservative Supreme Court justices such as Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg don’t believe states should be allowed to protect women from unsafely operated abortion clinics.
Yes, I said "ultraconservative". I know people such as Ginsburg like to call themselves "liberals", but their attitude to abortion regulations is closer to "ultraconservative" than to "liberal". During the last century "liberals" have attempted to enact regulations to protect individuals from unsafe, unfair, etc. business practices. "Ultraconservatives" have attempted to prevent such regulations or ask the Supreme Court to overturn them.
The ultraconservatives who oppose abortion regulations are like the ultraconservatives who opposed regulations to protect employees from unsafe working conditions a century ago. The probusiness ultraconservative justices oppose any attempt to regulate abortions like probusiness ultraconservative justices a century ago opposed any attempt to regulate working conditions.
Racist Justices qualify as reactionaries because they returned to the 19th Century business policy of caveat emptor "Let the buyer beware" for abortions.
Racist Justices like abortions because abortions limit the growth of the black population: Racist Justices oppose regulations that would reduce the black baby body count. The deaths of women from abortions reduces what the racist Justices regard as the surplus black population

I have to disagree with this persons interpretations of “Liberal’, “Conservative”, and “Reactionary”. There are plenty of cases where “Liberals” created a pampered, privileged, and protected class that abused US-taxpayers, businesses, and the public. They have also created grievance-culture that we have today.
Now it may be the case that reactionaries have supported unjust practices, but in some cases they have not. Today, a reactionary might just be someone who wants biological males to compete in sports with other biological males.
