That’s what we did - 15 Glock 41 mags now.

Uncle carries an almost new M1 carbine with 20 15rd mags. Fits neatly between the seats and out of sight.
A confidence builder for sure.
If you need those extra magazines, you are probably in more trouble than they can extract you from. Remember, some of the rioters are carrying firearms too.
I would suggest increasing the pressure on the gas pedal and accelerating away from the mob as fast as possible. Zig-zag for the first 200 yards. The rioters are terrible shots.
If you do happen to knock down a few rioters - don't look back. And the scuff marks will buff right out.

I used to train with an AZ police officer who carried his personal weapon in a Tommy’s Gun Pak. He kept the HG and two spare mags in it. When he went to bed at night, it was right there. If he needed it, he’d strap it on, grab his taclight, and he was good to go.
I ran across another fellow in my shinkendo classes who also used a Tommy’s Gun Pak. He augmented his with a cold steel 4” push knife. He had affixed its sheath to the front. This is excellent for a number of uses like buying time to get to ones HG and for HGb retention, although the pak does an excellent job of that.
