The 80,000 football fans packing the stadium were on their feet looking down at the two teams lined up on the verdant green field. It was a mild September Sunday in the Maryland suburbs of the nation's capital, and every seat was taken by loyal maroon and gold wearing fans who were hoping to see their team improve last season's dismal record and make a run for the playoffs. The crowd noise reached a sustained roar as they watched the kicker trot toward the teed-up football, they saw the two teams rush at each other, and they followed the flight of the ball high into the air.

I have read all three of the “Enemies” series. I need to read them again and to get the later books as well. I really enjoyed the series and things happening today ping my memory of the plots in these books. Thanks Matt!

Find a comfy seat before you crack it open. You’re gonna be there a while.

Matt is a brilliant writer and a great American. He foresaw much of what is now happening in America years ago, and he has written extremely prescient and entertaining cautionary tales to help frame the necessary responses. If freedom in America is to be preserved, Matt will have been a major force in making it so.

Buy them. Read them. Learn from them.

I have all of his books but be forewarned, they are definitely NOT quickly read. Bracken writes with great detail and fleshes out the world that his characters live in in great fashion.

Matt is a national treasure!

If you want to sample the books before you buy, he has huge excerpts available on his website. Only downside is that you’ll be chompin’ at the bit until you get your book!

I’m reading the first book right now (well, not this actual second). It’s like he has a crystal ball. Great read!

Well done, Matt!
