Remember the first remdesevir study tried against COVID-19? No control groups, and only a modest improvement in patients with the disease. Fauci was grinning ear-to-ear...said something to the effect that we
finally had a drug that had an effect against COVID-19.
Fauci may carry an "MD" next to his name, but I wouldn't trust him as my doctor.

Given Fauci’s latest meanderings about this virus being as deadly as the Spanish Flu his sanity is now very questionable.
Even the lamest virologist would not dare to compare this nonsense to the Spanish Flu, a pandemic that actually reduced the population of earth by 3%.
With 360 thousand new births everyday, this pandemic’s death toll of half a million and likely not much more than a million when it’s over, can hardly compare to a virus the ended the lives of 50 to 60 million people worldwide.

He never practiced medicine. (Maybe a few months as an intern in med school 55 years ago.) Went directly from higher education to a political position at NIH.
