During a military briefing Friday, President Trump indicated he sent federal law enforcement officers to Portland to quell the nightly protests over police violence, and claimed Portland police were incapable of managing the protests themselves.
In the wake of the killing of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis in May, hundreds and sometimes thousands of protesters in Portland have taken to the streets nightly.
Last month, Trump signed an executive order to protect monuments and statues from protests nationwide as well as combat criminal activity. In response, the Department of Homeland Security sent officers to Portland; Seattle; Washington, D.C.; and Gettysburg National Park in Pennsylvania, according to a DHS official who spoke on background. The official wouldn’t discuss additional locations, specific agencies or units, but did say that hundreds of federal law enforcement officers were deployed to areas around the country as a result of Trump’s executive order.
“A lot of this was a big push for the July 4 weekend,” the official said. “We’re still in an enhanced posture. We’re prepared for if there is more violence, we’re ready to deal with it.”
But from all the talk we heard lately again, there was no police to protect Americans from the Antifa rioters.
Footage emerged last night and shows Antifa rioters that surrounds two white Americans and accuse the of being rednecks.

If the “silent majority” doesn’t speak up soon, they will become the minority. And, quite frankly, will have deserved what they’ve allowed.
Lately, it seems that we conservatives can’t win even when we’re winning. But the country is under siege, so we cannot indulge the luxury of being discouraged.
This year has been one body blow after another to the nation we love.
I suspect at this point, if someone were to physically thwart criminal attempts to destroy public property, that person would be arrested on the spot and go to jail for abusing the rioters.
It sure does seem like that. Rioters get almost a free pass while people protecting their property or lives get harassed by the authorities.
The natural effect of the police protecting rioters over those protecting themselves from the rioters will result in the loss of support for the police and other authorities by those that currently support them.
The big problem here is fighting back or defending yourself and loved ones often means loss of job/career and smearing of reputation.
Now, if you even call the police on blacks for whatever reason, you will have your life destroyed.
She is in escrow, with a $50,000 over asking price offer, another one in backup $50,000 over asking!
She was looking for a replacement, but not now, I advised her to way it out, rent or stay with friends till after the election at least. Prices are too damn high and Portland is going down, not a safe or happy place to be.
As evidenced by the search warrant served last night on the St Louis couple who simply stood their ground with weapons in hand.

There’s nothing really united anymore about the United States of America, which is becoming an oxymoron. At the rate we’re going the whole thing will fly apart before long.
Some major realignments appear to be in our future if free people are to continue to exist and live in peace.

I’d bet there were about 20 antifa “protesters” facing off against two victims. That is there style as they are basically cowards. I still think back to the one that got a minor wound on his leg and cried like a baby while all the others tried to comfort him and even put a tourniquet on his leg.
Being a redneck must be some egregious crime.
When obama was in office, he talked about setting up a citizen national security force. Just sayin.
