Those of us wise to the mainstream media’s dishonest and manipulative agenda tend to focus our ire on all the poisonous fake news they produce. But, as often as they disseminate outright lies, doing so isn’t by any means their main weapon of mass deception.
By carefully choosing which facts to incessantly drum into our heads and which to keep hidden, the establishment press can turn the most flagrant deception into conventional wisdom without even resorting to any overt lies.
Anyone who tuned into “Face the Nation” Sunday morning witnessed a particularly despicable example as host Margaret Brennan did her best to gin up another round of unjustified panic over COVID-19...

Also, it’d be nice if there was some confirmation on all these folks that are posting that they haven’t been tested but are getting notifications that they’re positive, etc.
Saw something about a couple that went to get tested, waited and waited, left without getting tested and were then notified that they were positive.
Realizing that it is the internet and no knows whats true or not, it would be nice to see if anyone is looking into this. Saw something Youtube about a guy who had two tests done in 4 hours...Negative on one, Positive on the other. Again, true or not. Who knows? But it would be nice if there were some legit shenanigans going on, that the people responsible are exposed. I know no one will be punished and the Left has absolutely no shame, but it’d still be nice to start figuring it out.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the actual test gives a false positive or actually spreads the covid

It’s not just the media. Go to the CDC website or a state website and you will see the scarey graph of the increases in cases. Try to find the same graph of deaths with the timeline. Might be somewhere but not on the front page. I’ve tied finding it on the CDC and the state of NH’s website. I might be challenged but I can’t find them.
It is evident they don’t want the masses to see. They should be trying to give people hope, not scare them. But the masses love playing Covid.
I get lied to every day at work but it is my customer, so I deal with it. I will not put up with lies in my personal life. Certainly not from some weasley bureaucrat.
I had a hard time believing any of this in the beginning, but when Fauci switched his opinion on masks I decided this was a complete scam.
I noticed the death rate went up to over 900 yesterday and today it is almost at 600 but Texas and a few other placed have yet to report results on Worldometer. I hope you are right that the death rate will stay low and is not going to move upward with this big increase in confirmed cases.
Hospitalization rates are available from CDC website, but you have to jump through hoops to get the weekly data:

Missouri has a dashboard from which deaths and hospitalizations can be found. Will look for NH.

You can see that deaths peaked in mid-April, then dropped.

OK, so it isn't killing everyone. Are all the hospitals jammed? Where are the videos of doctors in space suits? The only people I know in danger are the ones who have had to reschedule or cancel treatments because Covid cases are supposed to be skyrocketing.
I am finally getting to talk to a surgeon about the appendix I was supposed to have out in March. If it hadn't been for modern magic antibiotics, I suppose I would have been dead from Covid induced appendicitis.
I do a search on “Covid-19 dashboard.” It’s proved to be pretty handy and no worse than most other sites AFAIK. I realize there have been methodological questions about coronavirus statistics, but these seem to be the official numbers, warts and all.
It is pre-set to statistics, but I click on “trends.” You can select individual states and countries. Preset at this point is “confirmed” but I click on “deaths”.
So, US deaths are up somewhat as of 7/7, 902 deatgs. I wonder why. Then I pull up deaths for the state of New York. Holy Cow! They show a spike to 7,306 deaths as of 7/6, more than the entire United States. This could be a data entry error, or Cuomo is trying to mess with the nightly news.
Any ideas?
The way to cure COVID is more BLM protests/riots.
