On a sweltering July 7, 1865, a mere 12 weeks after Abraham Lincoln was shot at Fords Theater, four of his assassins accomplices were hanged in the courtyard of the District of Columbias Washington Arsenal present-day Fort McNair, and specifically its tennis courts.
The exact nature of the conspiracy against the man who had seen the North to victory in the Civil War has been debated ever since actor John Wilkes Booth lodged a ball from his one-shot Derringer behind Honest Abes ear. But it was a conspiracy an astoundingly bold one.
Simultaneous with Booths successful attack upon Lincoln, there was an unsuccessful attempt to kill Secretary of State William Seward; it would emerge in the investigation that another man had been detailed to murder Vice President Andrew Johnson, but got drunk and chickened out. The apparent upshot: with the President and Vice President dead, new national elections would be required to replace the Senator who would become acting president and with the Secretary of State dead too, thered be nobody to implement them. Booth was trying to paralyze the North with its own constitutional machinery in some desperate hope of reviving the defeated South...

Can you fix the title?
that’s it. replace Abraham Lincoln Memorial with John Wilkes Booth Memorial.
Also, augment the George Washington Monument with the Miley Cyrus Monument. Have her twerking against the repurposed phallic symbol.
Replace the Jefferson Memorial with a big pile of money representing how much Hunter Biden got from the Chinese Communists.
Replace the Tomb of the Unknowns with 24/7 video gaming.
And, replace the White House with a marijuana dispensary.
And continue posting articles on presidential assassinations so some one will get the hint and act.

If you had been paying attention, you would have noticed that I have posted one piece a day from the same website.
I have posted pieces about the executions of serial or spree killers, historical figures such as the supposed lovers of Anne Boleyn, religious martyrs, resistance fighters during WWII, and various others.
12 weeks to investigate and serve justice. Thats back when Americas courts and society were actually just.
