Indeed, without darkness, we wouldn't be able to understand what light is or appreciate it.
Without cold, we wouldn't be able to understand or appreciate warmth.
Without poverty, we wouldn't be able to understand or appreciate wealth.
Without oppression, we wouldn't be able to understand or appreciate freedom.
The list goes on and on. Without the negative or things perceived as negative in life, we wouldn't be able to appreciate positive things.
The Good News is, we can overcome almost everything we perceive as negative in life by effort and determination. And the things we can't overcome, Christ does for us.
The first step to overcoming the negative aspects of life is to understand that Jesus Christ is within us quietly giving us advice and patiently exhorting us to do the things it takes to overcome the negative things we encounter in our lives while at the same time fixing us or making us stronger on the inside in ways that we can't.
The really REALLY Good News is that we don't have to "invite" Jesus or "accept" Jesus into our lives. We just have to REALIZE he's already there and acknowledge it with awe and gratitude. Otherwise known as prayer.
The fall of man in the Garden of Eden changed nature (physics) in our world. We now have entropy whereas before we did not.
One of those laws is the true randomness of radioactive decay. This means that it is impossible for any being to “know” when a neutron will decay. If such a law exists it means that there is knowledge about the World that is beyond even God. So are the laws of Nature supreme or is God?
He also gave us silver - which is in tens of thousands of medical products and has been around thousands of years and kills all viruses and bacteria
