Democratic strategist James Carville said there is a "significant chance" that President Donald Trump drops out of the race. In an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday, Carville said the "Moscow Mitch" strategy to save the Senate will involve throwing Trump under the bus.
JAMES CARVILLE: I think there is a significant chance he doesn't run. I mean, this thing is going so poorly. He's so far back. To me, it doesn't make much sense for him to run. (emphasis mine)

More wishful thinking from the usual delusional suspects. We’ve heard the same thing now for 5 years. I’m convinced that the media’s delusional plan all along was first to make his candidacy a living hell so that he’d drop out. When that didn’t work, they tried to make his presidency a living hell so that he would resign. They were dead sure that they could accomplish that, and they are still deluding themselves that they can still do it even at this late date.
They hate him for the fact that he defied them, and defeated them in 2016, and they are deathly afraid that he will do it again in 2020. They know that if he wins again in 2020 they will be seen as having lost their power to be the kingmakers.
He is very ill, and looks close to death, so he will be dropping out...

2. President Trump is re-elected as Trump 2.0. The left knows he will no longer be constrained by having to run again. In response, the thugs will torch the entire country and burn it down, well funded by major corporations who fall for extortion.
