deaths lag infection by 12-18 days, if there is a spike in deaths, we should see that real soon.
128,368 covid deaths in the US as of this second. And all of those in 3-4 months! This is nothing like the flu.
I hope he gets home soon! With your help, he will be more comfortable at home. Maybe a hospital bed? The death rate in my fairly large county for those over 85 years is 20% which means most survive. Unfortunately, they do not tell us whether those who tested positive ended up hospitalized. Wishing you happier days ahead.
