Its official. The Dixie Chicks are no more. From now on they want to be known as just The Chicks:
Dixie Chicks are changing their name: The trio is now called The Chicks. https://t.co/sTAI98Fenj

They are just catering to their massive black fan base in America’s urban ghettos /s
Ditsy Chicks would be more appropriate. Been calling them that for years.
Chickens everywhere will be offended.
Are they still a thing?
The one on the left is a guy. I’m sure of it.
Not exactly Chicks anymore. More like Clucks.
i suggest Dixie Dopes
“Prowling Pumas” would be a more fitting name.
Although the band formed with the sisters and a couple other members, it’s been Natalie, Martie and Emily for the past 22 years, which is pretty good for a band, especially a female band where members leave to raise families.
People hate them, especially Freepers, which is understandable, but I love their early albums. They’re all very talented—unlike the crap out there today. They actually play instruments and write some of their songs. It’s unfortunate politics ruined their careers.
And they just changed the thing that would have guaranteed their notoriety ad infenitem.
Industrial grade stupid right there.
It is way past time for the name change. They have not had any connection with Dixie for a long long time.
No more Dixie cups either so we get plastic and styrofoam cups back.
I recognize David Lee Roth but who are the other two dudes? And what do they have to do with The Washed Up Country Trio Formerly Known As The Dixie Chicks?
Who knew they were still around? What an insult to baby chickens.
How about Chicks with Dix?
Or maybe just The Dix.
Change name to The Chixie Ducks:
Or the Chocolate Ducks.
Or the Dickless Dogs and Cats.
I have a few more ideas but am not giving anymore out for free.
Chicks Without Dix
given that “The Chicks” is sexist, very shortly they’re going to have to drop “Chicks” and just be known as “The” ...
the icks
