It would be nice if the OK AG would consider it.
Sure would be nice to see some anti-Trumpers be punished....and then serve time.
Sounds more like ‘Russian meddling with our election’
People should but need to know that actions have consequences.
Trump needs to put a price on these tickets, even if it’s only a $1 or $2...They wouldn’t be so eager to play this silly game if they had to put a valid credit card on the line.
The tickets are free. Nothing of value was given, nothing received.
Not only would the case be thrown out, a judge would tell any lawyer bringing it that they should consider another profession.
It was a prank. Trump got suckered. He wont get suckered again.
Reserving a non-reserved seat to a free event that you do not attend is not the basis of a valid fraud claim.
How would the “pranksters” who don’t show up be determined from the hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters who signed up, but didn’t show up?
Are we to have investigators go through hundreds of thousands of social media accounts to distinguish between the two?
The event was a failure because people didn’t attend.
The people who were supposed to attend are Trump supporters, many of whom stated an interest, but decided to watch on the T.V. instead.
Suppose four people buy tickets to a baseball game and do not go to the game.
Is it fraud?
Yeah, I hope they figure out a different system by next time.
“Suppose four people buy tickets to a baseball game and do not go to the game.
Is it fraud?”
No, of course it isn’t fraud if you decide to or are not able to go to the baseball game because something comes up or it is going to be 40 degrees unexpectedly on Oct. 1 and you don’t want to freeze. That’s not a conspiracy.
FTA:
“Now, lets suppose that a legally responsible young adult living far from Oklahoma, with full intent to mislead and sabotage the expensive Trump event, reserved lets be conservative 100 tickets. Perhaps even a teen with the knowledge and active assistance (also known as aiding and abetting) of a parent alleged to be a political strategist.
In fact, each act of reserving tickets could be conceivably be charged as a separate count of federal wire fraud. Each count of which is punishable by fines and up to 20 years behind bars. In Oklahoma, an act of fraud involving value of less than $500 can land you a $1,000 fine and up to a year in the hooch.”

Ping me when these folks are indicted.
How is that different from “Freeping a poll”?
Who lost money?
Lock them up.
Let’s say that 100,000 of the requests were TikTok related. What do you do to the other 900,000 people who requested tickets and didn’t show up?
No one on our side with the guts to file a lawsuit.
Yeah, the campaign could already have filed one.
Then the headlines would be, meanie Trump sues teenaged girl.
All the people inside outside and watching
A failure
Sure kid
