For a second straight night, shooting was reported in the cop-free Seattle protest zone.
A person was injured on Sunday in the area of the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” established by protesters against police violence, the second round of gunfire over the weekend.
The Seattle Police Department said in a tweet at 11:26 p.m. that one person had suffered a gunshot wound while inside the area and that a second shooting may have taken place.
“Police investigating reported shooting inside CHOP zone,” the department wrote. “One person at HMC with gunshot wound.”
A man who was filming had his phone taken by one of the CHAZ “protesters” who was demanding that he delete his footage. The idiot thief did not realize that it was livestreaming and continued to film from the stolen phone, also broadcasting his face.
From the sound of the livestream footage coming from the scene, there may be multiple people shot, as the CHAZ inhabitants were calling for medics. At least one person is in serious condition, according to a spokesperson from Harborview Medical Center’s Emergency Department.

Following Saturday’s shooting in the zone, officers responding to the shooting said they “were met by a violent crowd that prevented officers safe access to the victims”.
As we reported yesterday witnesses said there was heavy drinking throughout Friday night, then a conflict escalated into gunfire.
Antifa members were beaten up by real BLM protestors.
A short while later Antifa/JBGC members returned & fired multiple shots at the same protestors.

Time to reinstate law and order. I do have to admit struggling with why the police and 1st responder should respond, but then I remember we’re better than that. It’s what separates us between being the great country that we are and an uncivilized 3rd world country mentality.

I have a question that I’ve been wondering about for some time. Is it possible to take an ordinary cell phone that can do video calls and set it so that it streams the video to some site where it is being recorded? I’ve been in a few dicey situations where I’ve been asked to stop recording and I’d like to be able to say “just so you know, this is being streamed to ___ where it is being recorded. There is no point in stealing my phone, threatening me or even asking me to erase the video. It’s already being recorded permanently on the cloud.”
I have no doubt this is technically possible but is there a commercially available way that this can easily be done? Thanks in advance for the help with this question.

Not, apparently, in Coeur d'Alene,Idaho, if reports from this weekend are accurate. Can this be the only American city with the will to resist? I think not.
I am sure it is and I am interested in how to accomplish it. I am not exatly tech illiterate but I have never had need of that capability before.

The benefits of this would see obvious and the only reason I suspect it can’t be done is that if everyone used it, the amount of data being transferred at any one time would go through the roof. However, at the moment, I just want it for me... and you since you are interested in acquiring this capability as well.
I will poke about this issue to see what I can find out and will let you know if I find anything interesting.... I did a cursory enquiry with an engineer I know and he said “of course this is possible and it’s being done now”. I told him to let me know the best way for a typical cell phone user and he said he’s do that.

There’s been four attempts to set up these zones in other cities. All were stomped out at once as they should be.
Why are there any light on there at all? Who’s paying the bill? Been mentioned several times that if the kill cell service to the area this ridiculous tantrum ends. BTW when it does end, we in other states aren’t paying to clean it up.

The word was they were headed to Snohomish to show suburbs should worry too. They were met by many gun wielding locals to explain 'no.' Same day or next they headed to Covington who similarly turned out. We've seen or heard nothing since.
