I read about that. It was basically some guy told some other guy about it. And that first guy said he heard it from an FBI tape. And we all know how the FBI likes to carry grudges.
Look, maybe MLK did something like that. I dunno. But we tear him down at our own peril. Because with MLK out of the picture, the only role models left for young black folks are the Sharpton and Farrakhan types.
Neither was Thomas Jefferson.
But we get all uppity when someone dares mentione that Jefferson owned slaves while we bash MLK.
Jesus picked a bunch of ignorant fishermen et al to be his Ddsciples. Maybe we should explain to Him how he got that part of the equation wrong.
I'd gladly have MLK and Jefferson at my barbecue. I bet they'd rip on each other then they'd hug.
