Seriously, when the defeated Mario Cuomo tried his hand at talk radio as an alternative to El Rushbo, he would cut off any caller who uttered the word “liberal”.
If Mario Cuomo appeared on This Week With David Brinkley, any attempted levity by the other guests would cause him to angrily throw down his cue cards and growl that “this is a serious discussion!!”.
