No reason given because no reason is needed. End of discussion.
SDNY was the group that coordinates with the N.Y. Attorney Office that brought up an average of one new lawsuit against Trump every three working days for his first two years in office, weren’t they?
Trump appointed him.
“Bill Clinton fired all 93 US AG’S when he took over. No reason given. Obama did the same thing.”
Before Clinton’s pRESIDENCY was through he had fired 118...
No he won't. He'll have to be explicitly and completely "Barred" from his office like that other snake 10 day acting Attorney General Sally Yates (may she be indicted soon).
This man is part of "The Resistance" and must be treated as such.
BJ Clinton fired 92 DA’s when he took office. No reason why Trump cannot do the same.
And Trump should have done the same.
Hopefully, they've already changed the locks and shut down all of his computer access. Monday morning would be for the cameras.
Folks lets be real. Durham is not investigating anything with the purpose of seeking indictments, if he was he would have had many many indictments by now. The Warren Commission investigating the assassination of President Kennedy took far less time.
Barr and Durham are Jeff Sessions 2.0. Jeff Sessions was Trey Gowdy and Darrell Issa 2.0.
No one of any significance in the deep state is going to be prosecuted by the deep state.
Thanks RACPE.
The Lawfare group will continue to be a problem so long as it’s only about money. When they are dis-BARred and lose their livelihood is the only motivation that will work against them.
Or label them as a domestic terrorist group.
Thats whats odd, Berman was picked to replace the deep state former AG Bharara and was a part of the Trump camp until last night. He was handpicked to replace Bharara due to his loyalty as a former law partner of Rudy Giuliani and a campaign donor to Trumps 2016 campaign. Berman served on Trumps presidential transition team and Trump personally interviewed Berman before agreeing to nominate him to the New York position. The head of that office has jurisdiction over Trumps literal home turf, its a big deal... its just not clear what is going on.
Now they say Bermans office was investigating Giuliani.. weird stuff..
I believe the way it works is the President has the power to fire a US Attorney, but Barr actually doesnt officially have that power by law (the appointments are made by POTUS with Senate approval)
Yeah the whole rub is that Berman was never appointed by the POTUS nor confirmed by the Senate, and some damn law allows the judiciary to appoint an attorney until said time a presidential appointment can be made and confirmed. Throw in the NY senators have blue slipped Trumps desired choice, Trump is checkmated and Berman can continue to investigate and his associates. As much as we want to believe in the omnipotence of the President, he is finding out how insidious the swamp is.

Agreed, except he was appointed by Trump, only as a temporary appointment, and never formally submitted to the Senate for approval. Since he was Giulianis partner, I assume he came recommended by Rudy, Berman served on the Trump transition team but then something happened..
Who was Trumps desired choice that was blue slipped by dems? I missed that one, I thought they were blue-slipping Berman.
Oh I understand what you mean, they are blue slipping Carson the new pick to replace Berman. I think the way it will play out Trump will have to formally fire Berman, since Barr cant, only POTUS can. Then by law the SDNY judges appoint the temporary DA, pending Senate approval of someone new. All that could mean the judges will get their pick of DA until after the election, or some new plot twist occurs..
