Just call the GOP Convention a political assembly for the peoples constitutional right assemble and speak peacefully.
Move the convention and never look back. Move it to a freedom friendly state pronto. Don’t be dictated to by these lefty, petty dictators.
Move it to the big state University in. Red state. There are arenas and stadiums that could be used as well as large lecture halls. Although there hasn’t been an article in weeks, most state schools aren’t getting the usual amount of money since states aren’t collecting as many taxes.
The students have all been sent home. The professors can all write letters about how much they hate this until their salary decrease is canceled and their teaching load goes back down.
Move the damned convention to a normal, regular, American conservative area. To hell with all these big cities where the dims are in control. Hell, move it to a huge farmer’s field, do it like an old fashion Christian tent meeting. Get one of those large circus tents and do it there. To hell with bringing our money to these stinking dimocrat run cites and giving those stinking liberal mayors money to blow on illegals and their own pension fund (bank account). To hell with them. Quit helping them out. THE ONLY WAY you beat the enemy is to go on the attack. It is time to QUIT playing defense. It seems that is about all we do, play defense.

Definitive proof that he was playing politics and was just trying to screw over the other party. He obviously did not have legitimate health concerns. Out of political bias and spite, he cost his state many millions of dollars the convention would have brought at a time of economic hardship.
