As a North Carolina Republican, I am HOPING with everything I have that the Republican Convention will be moved away from North Carolina.
Cooper, the Demonazi Governor, and the Dem Mayor of Charlotte will NOT be good hosts even if there were no coronavirus to deal with.
Add that and there is absolutely NO QUESTION = MOVE it out of NC!

Hold it in Iowa. Des Moines is slept on as a city. It has all of the big-city nightlife and fun without none of the crap or ferals. And their dome capitol is one of the most beautiful in the nation.

Do it in a blue state, say San Francisco. If the state and city decline, it will be a decision they will regret. All that revenue declined in the midst of a 54 billion shortfall,and they decline this infusion of revenue to the city? If they accept, who will cover it without exposing the poop, homeless tents, trash and syringes everywhere? Just a thought.

Jacksonville would be a good choice. Right now Atlanta would likely be one nightly riot after another with CNN right there to motivate.
Nevada’s governor is a Democrat so I don’t think he’d be helpful. Florida, Tennessee, Texas, all would be better choices.
Expect mayhem in whichever place is chosen.
