This man was given a misdemeanor charge for opening his gym, but then his story took an even different turn. There was a tense exchange with the police, he was given a misdemeanor, and then the police chief came looking for him as their business being raided!
The business owner eventually has to temporarily close his business after there's a three strike warning and confusing information coming from the police, the police chief, and one big massive disconnect between the government and local authorities.
Dive in even further and we find a police chief who ends up following the constitution instead of the governor's orders - and he gets relieved.

The state is North Carolina. Not sure what city. The business owner is a Marine vet with multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I have no problem with bloggers or quick local reporting, but articles for the Internet should be What, Where, Who, How and (when known) Why. We can cut back on the snarky comments about the policeman being a Karen.

Then why are we paying for government employees to work now and be deemed as essential?

No, the reason for the 2nd Amendment is because many politicians will not willingly give you your rights back. You will have to take them back.

How do I know that? Because we have a constitutional sheriff in my county, and he informed the pig gestapo cops that enforcing unconstitutional laws will not be tolerated.
