One of the reasons nursing homes and other LTCF are required to jump thru so many hoops is the state gov’t needs a count of available “beds.” Forget pandemics, I’m talking an earthquake, tornado, etc. It goes without saying that you have to accept your own patients back: the state needs to know how many vacant “beds” are available for rehabilitation, not hospitalization. These standards are different.
This is why the explanation of Cuomo was so damn lame - the Federal government gave him “beds” and he STILL sent them into nursing homes. Ditto for other governors who had facilities built for them yet still discharged from hospitals to nursing home “beds.”
It’s going to prove to be their undoing.

I Watched that video, and I could tell something was off with that guy. Turns out he is mental, now we find out he was C-19 positive.. So the geniuses who decided it was a good idea to house this guy with the weak and elderly, should be Sued into poverty. They bear the majority of the responsibility for this.
