$25 million to the Kennedy Center in money that did NOT go to save employees jobs (199 were fired after they got the cash)
$45 million goes to Houston to pay for a popup hospital that saw NO patients but paid some staffers $2500 a day for a month.

I did not get any.
But I will have to help pay it off.

Pissing off huge piles of swag to produce little results is just how the federal rolls.
“A mindless bunch of idiots” is a perfect description of Congress, even more so than for the marketing division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.

Paid lots of government workers who still worked while the rest of the country was out of work.

The popup hospital was worth it, politically. It makes the point that the crisis is overblown.

Trump has the power to adjourn congress.
I think this can qualify as a time to use it.

Remember the days when the Tea Party rose up in anger over $800 billion in stimulus? And remember that the Tea Party was suppressed by Obama's corrupt IRS.

That should no longer be a concern, correct?

Most of these politicians are so damn old, they give zero fvks to the debt and damage to the country. They are all living the dream right now even in the worst of times for everybody else. The Founding Fathers would have run these scum out of Washington by now if they were not hung by lampposts over the Potomac.

That should no longer be a concern, correct? That raises some questions. Have Obama's minions been cleared out of the IRS and other government agencies? If Trump observes a problem and wants to clean house, will the corrupt Democrats work hard to subvert the President's authority?

It only took a matter of days to assemble. They jumped the gun on putting it up.
Contingency plans are for if things are needed. The expense was justified because “the federal government may pay up to 75% of the cost!”
It’s ALL still our tax money.
