My son recommended a documentary called “Bernie Blackout” running on the Vice channel. He is a Trump supporter and assured me I would love the documentary even though it was pro-Bernie.
WOW! Was he right!
The documentary was beautifully anti-media and anti-DNC in ways any Trump supporter could enjoy. This documentary is a huge red pill for “progressives” (who were mostly idealistic youngsters with little life experience unwittingly supporting a hard core communist).
The theme of the documentary was that the nomination was “stolen” from Bernie by the higher-ups, something Trump has said often.

A significant number of those Bernie Bro’s became Trump supporters.
I think most of the Bernie supporters are focused on getting student loan debt wiped clean and other goodies. However, they have been badly burned and I imagine they take that somewhat personally. If Trump keep pushing the message that “You’ve been lied to by the Democrats in a thousand different ways — but I’m telling you the truth” I think it will resonate in a deep way. Yes, they want “stuff” but they also want respect and to be treated like adults. There is an opportunity here.
You’d also love the Jimmy Dore channel on YouTube. Former Young Turks analyst who really rips the Establishment over the Flynn fiasco. Obviously he isn’t on our side (although he does give Trump credit for China) but it’s really interesting to see how the Far Left rips the Dem establishment.
