When Bubba's side lost the Nov 1994 mid-term Congressional Electoral majority to the GOP, I was watching Washington Week in Review led by Ken Bode, the way Russians under the Soviets read Pravda or the way we now watch the lamestream media to detect various currents in the Dem breakdown from derangement to self-cannibalism.
After Bode summarized the 1994 Mid-Term GOP Blood Bath against the Dem majority, Bode & the panelists couldn't say anything for about 10 seconds, they just sat looking at one another like they expected Young Republicans to be breaking into the studio to bash their heads in.
Another memory is watching PBS talking heads just as Bubba was being impeached. There was a curious puritanism, from the Left, about Bubba's sexual proclivities, as if the Dem Establishment was channeling the future Mitt Romney: how could the most politically astute Democrat President since FDR have such trailer-trash tackiness himself?
We know how all this ends: Trump will be too much of a gentleman to pull the plug on the Media, they way he should when another attack happens ten times worse than 9-11--wait, it just did, but it was the US Chamber of Commerce, the Biz Roundtable, WarrenBuffetBillGates and the evile Koch Bros. that set it all up.
Ultimately, Comrade Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will don her Millennial No-Nothing "Che Guevara" beret with a red star and will be proclaimed Dear Reverend Leader for Life.
