The leaked call is how Obama is signaling that the Democrats need to go on an all out attack to try to derail the direction this story is going. They know they have been exposed, and they desperately need the help of the media to spin it their way.

He was in on the whole thing. I think that the confidence he exhibited when he pronounced that “Don’t worry, Donald Trump will not be President.” was because he knew what was going on (POTUS wants to know everything that we are doing.), and probably had a hand in planning it.
