Fact to ponder: Mexicanos (en Mexico) do not know what a burrito is. Taco Bell is norteamericano cuisine.

They don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo either.

This is a fact.

I don’t celebrate it, either.

La raza is a group that needs to be made famous for what they really are.

Well, tacos don't do it for me. I might be persuaded to partake of a Sonoran hot dog, though.

The Irish in Ireland don't eat corned beef, either. Americans have never let that stop us from having food we like.

They don’t even celebrate this in Mexico, 2 Battalions of Soldiers removing 3 french men occupying Mexico isn’t worthy of celebrating.

To celebrate Stinko de Mayo, I just started a crock pot of slow cooker, pub steak & ale beef stew for dinner, and I'm baking a fresh loaf of white bread to serve with it. No corn. No beans. No guacamole. No peppers. No Corona Extra Virus. Just a little Guinness to wash it down with. In a Guinness pint glass my sister bought for me in Dublin last fall.

I certainly don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but I wouldn't be surprised that some Democrat might want to make it a national holiday, I mean a U.S.A. national holiday.

Actually they know what a tortilla is and a taco is soft and floppy. A burro is a burro and a burrito is a little one.

I’ll have rashers over NY corned beef any day but corned beef is great as well.

Bacon and eggs on the dinner menu here.

Or bacon and toaster waffles

Or maybe just bacon and bacon

Getting the Sonoran bread might be tough. If I were you, I'd get something from Fishbone's Rhythm Kitchen (if they are open). It's not Mexican, but it is exceptional.

Making soft-shell chicken tacos with homemade guacamole using salsa from last year’s garden.
