Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on Chris Cuomo's CNN show Monday night and shared that he was in contact with the host while he was infected by the coronavirus. Fauci said the two have known each other since Cuomo was a "kid" and told him he was worried and that is why he kept calling.
"I have spoken to you, almost without exception, every day," Cuomo said to Fauci.
"I was worried about you, that's the reason why I kept calling," Fauci said. "You were going through some difficult times."
"I don’t think that people were really experiencing or realizing how you were really sucking it up to look relatively normal," he (Dr. Fauci) said. ...

I am still stunned that after fighting the deep state/swamp for 3.5 years, Trump blindly turned everything over to two of the deepest deep staters there are. Tossed his bases overboard, killed our economic future to slavishly follow those two lifelong bureaucrats that never accomplished anything of importance in their lives.

At this point, (or more accurately earlier on in the pandemic, daily briefing) Trump would have realized -
there is NO WAY of getting rid of these two.
So Trump is forced to make the best of the situation dealt him.

I’m not. POTUS has ankle biters on all sides. Never Trumpers are already running ads saying he killed 60k people. He was in a no win situation and chose to buy some time. That is all.
