I tried to post the original Bezos Compost piece but it is behind the paywall. My simple response is NO! Ramadan is the only fasting period I know of that is gluttonous. Muslims are suppose to refrain from eating and drinking during the day but they eat as if everyday is Thanksgiving Day at night.
