As fascism is actually happening in parts of the country, antifa is nowhere to be seen, presumably holed away in their parents basements, anxiously waiting for the day they can bravely protest a conservative speaking at a college campus
Theyre classy like that.
They'll be kept under wraps until the DNC needs them again.
We found a hotbed of them in west palm beach. Can’t wait to troll them.
Uhuru.
At least 5 States Governors have shocked and awed them
by demonstrating how it’s REALLY done.
They do not like democracy.
They do not believe in the Constitution or limited government.
They call themselves "anti-fascist" on a bogus definition of fascism.
They claim to be derived from leftists who battled other leftists (NAZIs) in Germany during the late 1920's and 1930's.
NAZIs are not even real fascists. Those were Italians.
Fascism is an economic model. This isnt fascism. I wish people would learn their terms.
Tyranny, over reaching, dictatorial...sure.
Fascism has been happening a long time. The definition is “allowing property ownership but telling owners what to do”.
It’s just coming to a head.
It’s not an economic model if it involves the use of government.
They’re winning doing nothing, why protest?
Found an article where they protested this past May 1 against a non-profit in Chicago that assisted children of illegals (amazing), claiming they locked them up in cages.
They are roaches. They also have crosshairs.
I’m another person who dislikes references to socialist excesses as “fascism.” The only reason for it is that people know fascism is universally seen as a bad thing, so calling it communist (which is more accurate) seems like a less chilling description. The fact is, communism has done more evil in the world than fascism did, which is saying quite a bit. And these impulses to control society according to the dictates of an elitist class have their origins more in communism than fascism.
Spare me the banalysis about fascism being leftist. Fascism was a dictatorship designed to appeal to anti-communists who were scared of a communist revolution. That didn’t make it any better than communism, just a different way to get to roughly the same bad place. But the intellectual foundations of fascism are a lot different than communism. If we don’t know the difference, then trying to stamp out modern forms of communism by calling them fascism, is sort of like trying to deal with a flood by calling out the fire department and turning the hoses on the rising water.
I suspect Antifa are masquerading as lock-down protestors complete with confederate flags, military rifles and pro Trump slogans just to further defame him and his followers. It is something I was tempted to do myself at a leftist demonstration: Dress myself in a Soviet military uniform with a lunatic Leftist message. My problem was I couldn’t reproduce the Russian accent to give it an authentic impression.
Although our modern socialists' promise of greater freedom is genuine and sincere, in recent years observer after observer has been impressed by the unforeseen consequences of socialism, the extraordinary similarity in many respects of the conditions under "communism" and "fascism." As the writer Peter Drucker expressed it in 1939, "the complete collapse of the belief in the attainability of freedom and equality through Marxism has forced Russia to travel the same road toward a totalitarian society of un-freedom and inequality which Germany has been following. Not that communism and fascism are essentially the same. Fascism is the stage reached after communism has proved an illusion, and it has proved as much an illusion in Russia as in pre-Hitler Germany."The main differences historically were the Nazis and Fascists maintained the fictional appearance of private ownership of means of production, and the Communists did not. And the Nazis and Fascists believed in nationalism, while the Communists claimed an international universality of their dogma. Beyond that, on things important to a real American, personal freedoms, property rights, free markets, etc., there was little different between them. This remains so today.
No less significant is the intellectual outlook of the rank and file in the communist and fascist movements in Germany before 1933. The relative ease with which a young communist could be converted into a Nazi or vice versa was well known, best of all to the propagandists of the two parties. The communists and Nazis clashed more frequently with each other than with other parties simply because they competed for the same type of mind and reserved for each other the hatred of the heretic. Their practice showed how closely they are related. To both, the real enemy, the man with whom they had nothing in common, was the liberal of the old type. While to the Nazi the communist and to the communist the Nazi, and to both the socialist, are potential recruits made of the right timber, they both know that there can be no compromise between them and those who really believe in individual freedom.

I am still amazed at the California protests to open up and get back to work, of all the places you expect this to happen California wasnt even on the radar
Its absolutely an economic model of government.
Starting today the “shopping experience” at Costco is going to more resemble an antifa convention than a store.
“The definition is allowing property ownership but telling owners what to do.
Hitler made a speech about that in the 1930s.
In essence, Hitler said you can own private property as long as it’s used to carry out the dictates and wishes of the state.
